Friendly, caring staff, love the social worker Debra very helpful and caring…overall experience is great. The building was completely renovated!!!
My mother Karen received excellent care at this facility. Very professional, very skilled, and very kind people work at this place. I highly recommend Napa Valley Care Center.
Napa Valley Care Center is awesome! Debra in Social services and Iris my favorite CNA:) They made me feel so well cared for and safe while I was there recovering from broken back ribs. 2 years later my dad needed a place to rehab from his back surgery. There were no questions about it, Napa Valley Care Center it is! Same great quality care and staff who made us feel welcome and at home. Thanks to all you do!
The staff were kind and caring, and the place felt clean, safe, and well taken care of.
My mother was in this facility she was very happy being there. With all the activities going on, Kept her mind busy keep up the good work.
REHAB Side review ONLY-My father was there from Sept-Dec 2025. I was also there everyday afterwork, but was very impressed with all of his CNA’s & Nurses. He never was left to be changed, actually his CNA Preet would pop in on occasion to ask if he needed to be changed, before my dad has to ask. The physical therapy and occupational thearapy (Emily) were also great. He also needed wound care 2x daily which was also fantastic. If it matters he was in Rm 109

Left me crying and laying in pain for 4 hours; this was unacceptable and cruel. I requested a nurse multiple times, none appeared. The staff did not monitor or cared that I wasn’t eating or taking in liquids. I was both weak and dehydrated by the time I went home. Orders left by the rotating doctor/nurse were never carried out. I was unable to walk making a bedpan was necessary. The majority of the time the sheets had to be changed, and no one cleaned me up. Some of the staff were very nice and caring, while others were not. I hope I never, every have to go there again.

*** See below for my final update – Day 25 My recovery care is very important to regaining my previous lifestyle. Before selecting a facility, I checked the reviews of all the local facilities. We all know you need to wade through the super negative and super positive. Eventually I chose NVCC and quite glad I did. I arrived on Sunday June 22nd. The facility is clean and the staff members are wonderful. Monday was a full day onboarding including meetings with all Department Heads. It was very helpful in setting my expectations for my time here. Since Monday, I have settled into a good rhythm and I’m making excellent progress. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Of course we’ve had a few bumps as we learn each other’s schedule but none without resolution. If you need a medical recovery facility I suggest you try here. You’ll be glad you did. Follow up – End of day 4 and I’m making great progress. OT,PT therapists are wonderful. *** Day 25 – heading home Arrived on a gurney – walked out the front door I’m quite delighted to tell everyone I made major strides at NVCC during my stay. The staff from top to bottom, Admin to cleaning, are due a lot of the credit. Their attention to my recovery and my will to leave walking were the keys to success. There are several staff members who I’d like to give a shout out. If you don’t see your name it’s not that you are not important/remembered but that my brain is over 70. LOL Administration: Everyone needs a bus driver. Debra was wonderful. She made sure I was in the correct lane while I was there and also took care of my Medicare requirements. Any time I asked to see her she’d show up with a smile and an answer. PT/OT: Joel, Mike, Amanda, Janet, Dale and Emily – I can’t thank you enough for your attention to detail and keeping me motivated. Nursing: Monica, Diana, Manu and Yasmine – You were always there when I needed you. CNA: Georgina, Iris, Yolanda and Bernenise – You made my life as close to being at home as possible. Your kindness will be remembered. Cafeteria: This is for the kitchen staff. You met my every menu switch with a smile while providing better than average meals. It’s tough cooking for a whole building eating at the same time. I hope those of you reading this review never need to go for recovery, but if you do (probably yes if your reading this) I give high marks to NVCC. I should know. This is my 4th stay at a recovery facility during the last 5 years. Hopefully, my last. Don’t expect perfection, there will always be some bumps no matter where you go. They were certainly few and far between during my stay at NVCC. Thanks to everyone at Napa Valley Care Center! Nelson
Ive had more than 1 family member in this facility over the years. I’m writing this review to acknowledge the improvements I’ve witnessed over the last year as a family member of a full time resident. It started last year with a complete cosmetic remodel. New flooring, paint, outdoor areas . This has definitely improved the moral of patients, staff and visiting family. The entire staff ,administration, social worker, business office, front desk receptionist, nurses, food handlers have been very supportive to not only thier patient but the family as well . Thank you Napa Valley Care Center.
the staff at Napa Valley Care Center is amazing!
I really enjoy the activity staff here and they make living here special. I enjoy bingo so much. I really like it here at Napa valley and I look forward to activities everyday.
Claudia was so helpful and kind throughout the whole process. She really made things less stressful for us and we’re super grateful!
I want to give a shoutout to Claudia, the admissions coordinator, for her exceptional support. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed
I had my father at Napa Valley Care Center. I would recommend this place no hesitation. Friendly staff and good care.
I would give no stars if I could. This place is terrible. They never called or had a meeting with me until they wanted us to pay out of pocket and insurance stopped paying. My dad almost fell and hit his head when he went to hold the safety bar in the shower and it ripped out of the drywall and flipped him back into his wheelchair (thank goodness he fell into the wheelchair or he would be dead). The administration and finance department called me all day to ask for money and then they threw my dad out and on the way home he had a seizure as the administration Debra (who is suppose to be a patient advocate) jumped up clicked her heels and laughed. This is how they treat the elderly – wow!

My mom had an unfortunate accident which landed her at Kaiser and then to Napa Valley Care Center for recovery. I’m grateful for the staff who helped with her recovery process, communication with me, their help with insurance questions and at home care once released. It was a tough time for our family with a lot of uncertainty but the staff at Napa Valley Care Center made it so much easier. I’m hoping I never need their services again but if I do, I highly recommend them. Their professionalism, knowledge and care was greatly appreciated. Thank you

Lovely human named Debbie was so upbeat and helpful at front desk. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff ready to help. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.
Outstanding Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility! I’ve had the opportunity to work with Napa Valley Care Center over the years, and I’m consistently impressed by the dedication and professionalism of their team. One thing that truly stands out is the tenure of their employees and many of the staff have been there for years, which speaks volumes about the quality of their leadership and the culture they’ve built. If you’re considering Napa Valley Care Center for a loved one, you can trust that they’ll be in capable and caring hands. My experiences with the individuals here have always been positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for skilled nursing care.
In the time I spent here, I was impressed by how hard-working and accommodating the staff were. There are a lot of patients to care for, and the staff do an amazing job balancing the different preferences and needs of all the patients. They are undergoing a full renovation and the facility feels very clean and welcoming.
The medical and some administrative staff here are excellent! Unfortunately, they are too few and not paid enough! Very hard workers and doing what they can, spread as thin as they are to be able to cover all the needs of the patients. They also need a little more time matching up roommates for their special needs, especially for those with dementia and brain disorders. They definitely need more nurses and more CNA’s to provide the excellent care that so many here deserve! The ratio of caregivers to patients does not represent top quality. But they all do the very best that they can. they are very friendly and very caring……. a few things do fall through the cracks, but no fault of the caregivers. They need help! The dining room needs a bit of help as well for they don’t quite understand most times why older folks cannot handle very spicy food. A few tweaks and everything should work like clockwork!
Missy and Joan are great! 😀
